Technical Co-Founder (AI & Software Engineering)

We’re looking for a technical co-founder who is not only skilled in software engineering and AI but also shares our vision and enthusiasm for creating cutting-edge, multimodal healthcare solutions. Our focus is on voice-to-voice AI interactions, but our technology extends to text-based inputs, document analysis, and image processing (e.g., patients submitting images for medical evaluation).

Ideally, you bring expertise in building applications with AI tools, focusing on implementation rather than developing new models. We value someone who thrives in a collaborative startup environment, is open to shaping the direction of the product, and is willing to invest time and effort into making this venture successful.

Our current technology stack includes:

• Backend: Python, FastAPI, containerization with Docker, and cloud deployment (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
• Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript with React (for web) and React Native (for mobile).
• AI Integration: LLMs, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and agentic workflows (LangGraph / LangChain, PydanticAI, or smolagents) for multimodal AI (voice, text, and image-based data).
• Data Engineering & Processing: Handling structured and unstructured patient data, designing efficient data pipelines for real-time AI interactions, and ensuring secure data storage and access in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Real-time Communication: WebRTC (Livekit) for seamless voice-to-voice interactions, and scalable RESTful APIs for integration with external systems.
• Familiarity with stream processing tools like Apache Kafka or Spark for handling real-time AI interactions would be a plus.

Additionally, you won’t be working alone—two team members have technical skills in data science, programming, and web development. While we lack deep software engineering experience, we are eager to contribute and support you in building a robust, scalable, and secure solution. Together, we aim to create something truly innovative.
